Teaching: Professional Knowledge in the Classroom
This is a summary that describes how I would use technology in the classroom. In this technology philosophy, you will see what I think it means to learn in a technology integrated classroom, what it means to teach in a technology integrated classroom, and how I believe I can facilitate the learning process of this in a classroom. You will also see the skills and knowledge I want my students to gain from being in a technology integrated class, and how I will help my students to accomplish these goals, how I will take my philosophy and implement it into classroom activities, how I will assess these students and how I will create and inclusive learning environment for all students in a technology integrated classroom.

This is a list of websites that could be used for teaching and learning about specific math topics. I used these websites to teach linear, and quadratic regression. These websites helped me get more information on the mathematical concept that would be addressed in my topics, how the students would learn the topics, how these concept should be taught, and how technology can be used to help students learn the concepts. Each website I used has a short description that states the sites content and purpose.

This is a Lesson Plan I designed that uses technology in the classroom. With TPACK, there are three types of knowledge teachers need in order to be able to teach effectively in the classroom today. These are Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, and Technological Knowledge. For awhile, teachers taught with just content and pedagogical knowledge, but in order to be a 21st century teacher, you need technology. Within my lesson, you can see the different technology used, and how it engaged the students. This lesson also includes a instructional design plan that breaks down what standards are addressed in the lesson, the 21st Century Skills and Theme addressed, the technology used, and how it enhanced the lesson, transformed the content, or supported the pedagogy. It also explains how the different representations were used to enhance the lesson, and states what both the teacher and student are doing pedagogy-wise. On this page you can will have access to a link that takes you to a Google Folder with my lesson materials.
